The frigid northern winter brings millions of sun-starved visitors
to the Valley of the Sun each year. Most have beautiful desert golf
on their mind, and they've come to the right place. The Phoenix/Scottsdale
area is made up of over 200 courses, many of which on the high-end.
Scottsdale is the newer, richer side of Phoenix, featuring some of the
classiest and most luxurious communities, clubs andresorts in the southwest.
The golf resort, which usually features spacious rooms or suites, private
balconies to bask in the desert sunset, and onsite location is the choice
for many of these guests.
25 casita buildings blend into the surrounding desert landscape at
the Four Seasons Resort at Troon North. Each of the 210 guess rooms
provide a spacious private terrace or balcony to soak in the dramatic
views. The second floor has one bedroom spas, complete with a furnished
living room and secluded bedroom. A fitness center and spa, tennis courts,
lagoon-styel pool and other outdoor recreation activities make the Four
Seasons Resort a full-service getaway with tons to do. The nearby Troon
North golf courses make for some of the best golf in the Valley of the
Sun with the acclaimed Monument and Pinnacle courses.
Golf Courses
Troon North, The Pinnacle
Opened in 1996 and designed by Tom Weiskopf, the Pinnacle is a 7,044-yard,
par-72 course that has five sets of tees with the most forward ones
playing to 4,980 yards.
Troon North, The Monument
Opened in 1990 and conceived by the legendary golfer Tom Weiskopf and
architect Jay Morrish, this 7,028-yard, par-72 course has five sets
of tees to provide a challenge for both low- and high-handicap players.
Accommodations
Guest Rooms
All of the Resort's guest rooms maximise their dramatic Scottsdale
surroundings with private, generously sized balconies or patios, while
the indoors ensures ultimate comfort with individually controlled air
conditioning and gas fireplaces. Well-appointed Moderate Casita Rooms
offer views of the desert landscape from the ground floor, while Superior
Casita Rooms feature partial views of the mountain peaks. More spacious
Deluxe Casita Rooms, on the ground and second floors, offer desert landscape,
mountain or valley views, while Premium Casita Rooms on the ground to
third floors offer our most panoramic views of the mountains, valley
or lagoon-style pool.
Suites
On the second floor, Reata Pass One-Bedroom Suites offer a comfortably
furnished living room and the privacy of a secluded bedroom, with views
of the mountains. The similarly sized Desert Garden One-Bedroom Suite
also features an outdoor garden shower. McDowell, Kiva and Oasis One-Bedroom
Suites, on the ground floor, offer breathtaking views of the desert,
mountains or pool, respectively. These suites feature the luxury of
a private heated plunge pool, a spacious living room and a separate
bedroom; Kiva Suites also offer an outdoor fireplace. Additionally,
the Resort boasts a number of unique two- and three-bedroom suites for
family convenience.
Families and Special Needs
Families can be accommodated in suites and, in some cases, in connecting
standard guest rooms. All rooms and suites also offer extra sleeping
options through either a rollaway or a queen-sized sofabed. Some rooms
and suites are equipped for wheelchair use. We recommend contacting
the Resort directly to make the best arrangements.
Dining Facilities
Stunning views of the high Sonoran desert, impeccable service and distinctive
cuisine combine to create an unforgettable dining experience in Acacia.
Nestled in the foothills of Pinnacle Peak, this contemporary steak house
features the finest prime beef, fresh seafood and seasonal specialties
within an intimate Southwestern setting. Condé Nast Traveler
magazine describes Acacia as "clearly on par with the best steak
houses in the country." Private parties of up to 12 can enjoy hacienda-style
dining in the Javelina room, with doors that open to a secluded patio
and breathtaking vistas of the surrounding terrain.
Spa Services
The 12,000-square-foot (1,114-square-metre) full-service Spa features
a complete range of skin and body treatments, scrubs, clay wraps, facials
and massages, inspired by the spirit and ingredients of the desert.
It offers spacious private spa suites (which also accommodate couples)
for guests who want to enjoy a uniquely private and luxurious experience.
These suites are equipped with a sauna and steam/shower unit, as well
as a specialty jet bath. The Spa also includes a full-service salon.
Spa services are available to guests 18 years and older.
Pool Services
The 6,000 square-foot (558-square-metre) outdoor, free-form bi-level
pool is an oasis of relaxation, heated to 75–80ºF (24–27ºC),
depending on outdoor temperatures. On the landscaped deck, poolside
cabanas provide shade or trellis misters keep guests cool in the sun.
An adult whirlpool is placed at one end of the pool and a children's
pool with cabanas at the other. Poolside refreshments are available.
Fitness Facilities
The Fitness Center includes an exercise room featuring a full range
of weight-training and cardiovascular equipment (with individual audiovisual
stations and wireless headsets), a movement studio with sprung wooden
floor and "spinning" bikes, and separate men's and women's
locker rooms, sauna and steam rooms. A professional staff of instructors
and physical trainers is available to guests of the Resort.
Additional Amenities
Complimentary fitness classes include step aerobics, desert walks,
spinning, mat Pilates, yoga, breathing and meditation, and kickboxing.
Complimentary workout clothes and shoes are provided. Each cardiovascular
machine is equipped with the Cardio Theater system, offering access
to cable TV and CDs.
