Coronado is looking better, and is a lot of fun to play !
Still the cheapest golf around, and great driving range specials all the time !
The range is open til 9pm its great.

This review is disingenous at best. I have golfed all over the world at the finest courses - and none are on par with Coronado. Coronado is a bastion of freedom and fresh air to those of us who prefer to pay 12 dollars to hack away in bliss.

has the course changed in the last year? because my recollection (going back to approx. 1971) is that it does NOT go under any overpass. you can see the non-highway overpass, but at no point do you actually go under it. my most entertaining tee shots were the ones that ended up in the condo courtyards on the left of hole's 4 & 5.
was it a summer day that the writer played this course? because unless you're a 90+ year-old quadriplegic, there is absolutely no reason to ride this course. i don't care how cheap the carts are.

Come on, it is not that bad. The course does not go under a freeway, it goes under a local road. Keep Coronado for all that want an inexpensive round of golf at a nice quiet course.

Seriously Baldwin, since when is Thomas road a freeway. No need to embellish, the course goes under a busy road. Not a freeway. Thomas ain't the 101.
