Gold Canyon Adds New Food & Beverage Director

Gold Canyon, AZ - Gold Canyon Golf Resort is pleased to welcome Eric Bennett as the new Food & Beverage Director for the resorts two restaurants and banquet operations. Eric brings over 20 years of combined experience in hospitality, recruiting and restaurants to the resort, with his most recent post being the President of The Hospitality Connection, a premier Southwest Hospitality executive search firm in Scottsdale.

Prior to opening his own company, Eric was the General Manager of one of the country's highest volume Sidney's, a national upscale restaurant chain, in Minnesota, as well as the Corporate Trainer responsible for opening new restaurants from the ground up.

Born in Detroit Michigan, Eric was introduced to hotel management by his grandfather who owned a few hotels and restaurants. "I would follow my grandfather around to his various dining rooms and lounges, wanting to do the same kind of work. I fell in love with the industry." Eric's family relocated to Arizona 18 years ago, it was here that Eric has built his reputation and experience in both front and back of house operations of restaurants, nightclubs, and resorts.
