PHOENIX - Two local businesses will help the Christel House charity make a difference through golf by sponsoring the Phoenix venue of The Christel House Open, a one-day, 10-country golf tournament scheduled for June 16th at The Legacy Golf Resort in Phoenix.
Scottsdale Camelback Resort and International Cruise & Excursions, Inc. (ICE) have stepped forward to sponsor the Phoenix venue of the Christel House Open on Monday, June 16th as a benefit for Christel House, a worldwide children's charity.
This inaugural golf tournament is scheduled to take place on 20 courses in 10 countries on four continents on the same day, providing 100 percent of its proceeds to Christel House, a worldwide non-profit organization that builds Learning Centers worldwide to better the lives of underprivileged children through education, health care and physical and emotional support.
The Phoenix venue, starting with a 7 a.m. shotgun, has an entry fee of $260 per golfer or $1,040 for a foursome. Entry fees include four player gift bags, four breakfast and lunch tickets and four automatic raffle tickets for incredible sports memorabilia, vacations and other prizes. Play will feature several special hole events such as longest drive, longest putt and closest to the pin. Worldwide tournament awards to be presented as well.
