Las Sendas offers path to different and difficult desert golf
Las Sendas Golf Club had a slope rating of 149 when it opened in 1995. It has since been softened somewhat to 145, with a few desert hazards eliminated. Public courses can be only so difficult. But this Robert Trent Jones Jr. design will still knock your socks off.

Longbow gets a new look, but some wonder if it's any better
Following a $5 million Ken Kavanaugh redesign, the new Longbow Golf Club is an aesthetic triumph over the original. Whether or not the overall design is better is a matter of some debate between low and high handicappers, but it shouldn't be.
