The Golf Club at Vistoso has never seemed willing to cower in the presence of its resort course cousins. Paloma and Ventana are golf resorts, but the Golf Club at Vistoso is just a golf course, and a fine one at that. This Tom Weiskopf designed layout was a "readers write-in" Golf Magazine's Top 100 you can play six years ago, and is a "sneaky" favorite among locals and visitors alike. The layout is nowhere near as penal as Ventana or La Paloma, and if you can find better greens in the greater Tucson area, let us know. Take note of the 166-yard par 3 third hole – on a clear day (there are only 323 of them) you will have an amazing view of the north side of the Santa Catalina Mountains.

I have played every course in Tucson over the last four years. This course is by far in the worst shape of any course in town. It is so dried out that it looks like they're getting ready to overseed. The greens are as hard as a rock and the traps are like cement. I wouldn't play here for free.

This course was one of the most beautifull of Tucson area. Since 3 years, it goes down and down. This May was the worst of all. Should I say they didn't have enough money to water the fairways or may be the weather was that bad... I hope this course will catch up and become what it was before.

It is a very nice layout. However, the course is in really bad shape. The fairways are brown anf many times the ball would in the middle and laying on brown hard grass. Definetly not worth $60 to play there.
