Hilton El Conquistador - Canada CourseThe Canada Course plays through forests of mesquite trees, offering a parkland atmosphere amongst a desert landscape. The natural terrain snakes through ravines and arroyos, providing several natural hazards. Considerable mounding, doglegs and elevation changes provide a varied layout, making club selection an important factor in addition to careful strategy. Golfers should be prepared to use every club in their bag. The course’s signature hole is the eighth hole, considered one of the toughest par 3s in Tucson. The hole requires players to drive the ball uphill along a narrow ridge between two Saguaro cacti, and canyons border the greens on both sides.

Hilton El Conquistador - Conquistdor CourseThe Conquistador Course is the Hilton El Conquistador’s premiere course, providing golfers of all skill levels with a challenging game. Located at the base of the Santa Catalina Mountain Range, the course also provides beautiful mountain and canyon views. Although the surrounding terrain is desert, landscaping around the fairways and forests of mesquite trees give the feel of a parkland course. The par-5 fifth hole is a good example of the difficulty of the course. The hole features a lake and bunkers protecting the two-tiered green. The signature hole of the course is the 16th, though. Hilton El Conquistador - Pusch Ridge CourseThe Pusch Ridge Course is one of three courses at the Hilton El Conquistador. The hotel’s location at the base of the Santa Catalina Mountain Range ensures spectacular views on all three courses.
Encircling the El Conquistador resort is one of the best kept golf secrets in Tucson - the 9-hole Pusch Ridge Course. It is by no means an executive course. The golfer plays from elevated tees to sloping fairways and more often than not, back up to an elevated green. The layout makes full use of the ravines and ridges as well as indigenous cactus and trees to challenge any player.
Although it is shorter than the other courses at the hotel, the course is still a popular choice since it features dramatic elevation changes, small greens and water hazards. The course provides challenging play for golfers of all skill levels, and it serves as a great warm up for the two championship courses at the hotel. The signature hole is the par-4 fifth hole, which is surrounded by water with a walkway to an island green. It is considered one of the most scenic holes in Tucson.
