The Indian Bend Course is one of two 18-hole courses at the Camelback Golf Club. The course has a traditional links design that stretches over 125 acres of lush parkland landscape.
Arthur Jack Snyder’s design at Camelback Golf Club is one of the most scenic courses in the metropolitan Phoenix area. Nestled near the foothills of Camelback Mountain, the combination of mountain backdrops and challenging yet forgiving design has made Camelback a favorite for golfers in the Valley of the Sun for decades.
The Indian Bend Course at the Camelback Golf Club offers a player-friendly round of golf with the majestic Camelback Mountain as a backdrop. This scenic course features mature eucalyptus and pine trees, flowering gardens and countless hummingbirds, which all provide a serene atmosphere for a relaxing round of golf. Rolling, tree-lined fairways and water hazards scattered throughout provide challenges for golfers as they admire the stunning desert and mountain views.
The par-5 18th hole is a challenging and strategic finishing hole. A severe dog leg right, tree-lined fairway gives you little chance of reaching the green in two shots. The green is two levels and undulates heavily. A bunker in the back and one on each side catch off-line third shots. Get close to the hole and finish off the round with a birdie.
The doglegs, bunkers, and trees can cause extra strokes, but the layout offers escapes from hazards, making outstanding golf for those of any skill level.
The traditional, American, links-style design offers a fair test for golfers of all skill levels. In addition to this course, there is another equally challenging 18-hole course at the Camelback Golf Club called the Padre Course.
